WorldofTnT Posted March 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2016 Got to love when the Folks at RCCL can not get the pricing right on their own website.... Would be an awesome deal if it was real and not a computer Glitch.... I found it for Multiply sailings. Trey

CruisingChick Posted March 23, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) The other day when searching for cruises in the Bahams the year 1969 came up as a choice. Someone pasted a screen shot on another site. Hysterical. Edited March 23, 2016 by CruisingChick

yankees111 Posted March 23, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 23, 2016 Once you add port fees, taxes, parking fees, gratuities, specialty dining, alcohol, shore excursions, casino, shops on board, bingo, etc., this price is no longer such a bargain. Toddcan Posted March 23, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 23, 2016 I suppose when you click on the "select" or "buy" - a different price comes up?
lovelife Posted March 23, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 23, 2016 I can't read the tiny thumbnail. What sailing is this? I've checked all seven-day sailings on 5/22 but don't see that price. I wish!!

Marylandteachergirl Posted March 23, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 23, 2016 And RC has some fine print policies that they do not have to honor pricing errors.
WorldofTnT Posted March 23, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted March 23, 2016 The pricing was for Florida residents. and yes once you try to actually book the rate it disappears. But when you back out of it... it is still shown. the old Bait and Switch :) Trey
WorldofTnT Posted March 23, 2016 Author #12 Share Posted March 23, 2016 I suppose when you click on the "select" or "buy" - a different price comes up? Correct.... it then shows the right pricing. Trey
lulurobby Posted March 23, 2016 #13 Share Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) I called crown and anchor early this morning to book, to be fair to the reps she said let me see what I can do, lol. Guess what won't honor error on page, it was worth a try. Edited March 23, 2016 by lulurobby

ryano Posted March 23, 2016 #15 Share Posted March 23, 2016 And RC has some fine print policies that they do not have to honor pricing errors. Seems I recall a pricing error on Freedom a while back that many people were able to get them to honor. Maybe not as good as this one but like 369.00 pp balcony incredible

Sianli Posted March 23, 2016 #19 Share Posted March 23, 2016 We also got that Christmas rate---2 balcony cabins at that price. And the big bonus was that due to them shorting our port visits, we got either $400. or $450. per cabin in OBC!!!
ColoradoGurl Posted March 23, 2016 #20 Share Posted March 23, 2016 The other day when searching for cruises in the Bahams the year 1969 came up as a choice. Someone pasted a screen shot on another site. Hysterical. Supposedly the year 1969 is a default that RC uses when no date is entered for something. My crown and anchor info kept popping up with that as my birthday and after calling a couple times to get it fixed, they explained that for some reason my birthdate didn't get saved and so Jan 1 1969 ended up as "my birthday" because it is their default date. I bet that's what happened here, someone forgot to enter the date or something so the system entered it for them. Just a fun fact.
WorldofTnT Posted March 23, 2016 Author #21 Share Posted March 23, 2016 It appears that they have now corrected the IT issue and the rates have disappeared from the system. Trey

Ken at the beach Posted March 23, 2016 #23 Share Posted March 23, 2016 You are VERY funny:D Oh yeah, I forgot about that part!!!! How could you forget about the OBC. That cruise ended up costing me a whole $50 for 2 balcony cabins after that OBC, the OBC I had for booking on board and the $300 I won for booking another cruise on that one. Best deal ever.:)
