spearmint Posted April 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2016 Can anyone tell me what the levels are in the Loyalty Program on Princess? I know blue, gold and ruby only. On our back to back last month, we started week one as blue, went to gold for week two, and today, they tell me that only one more cruise will put us to ruby. What requirements are needed for the next level(s) and which level begins to make a difference for perks etc.? Bill

Dreamer115 Posted April 25, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2016 Do you have to sign up or is it automatic?
robandana Posted April 25, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2016 Its automatic and the good stuff starts when you get to Platinum, this is after 5 completed cruises or 50 cruise days....free internet is great!

emmak8 Posted April 25, 2016 #8 Share Posted April 25, 2016 Princess has one of the most generous loyalty programs among cruise lines. That is why so many passengers stay loyal.
Coveguy4 Posted April 25, 2016 #9 Share Posted April 25, 2016 The internet is a great perk when you are platinum and elite. Rarely have I ever needed more time then provided. I only use it to check on my business, (after all I am old enough not to be addicted to the cyber non reality) and am on vacation on a cruise! spearmint Posted April 26, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted April 26, 2016 Here you go: https://book.princess.com/captaincircle/jsp/memberShipBenefitsForProspect.jsp Thanks. I used your link and now I know. I found before our cruises, that sometimes it was such a pain to navigate the website, and I know that cruise critic is the place for fast responses. GUT2407 Posted April 26, 2016 #14 Share Posted April 26, 2016 To be honest the only perk that I find even remotely interesting is the mini bar. But priority boarding is handy. Internet.... No thanks I want to be uncontactable. Laundry .... The detergent gives me a rash and no way Mrs Gut will let them near her unmentionables. Priority tendering ... Never waited long to tender. Now some OBC, that'd be nice.

I think the wine tasting could be nice and the canapés on formal night are an interesting touch... Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk May be its just me :) The mark of a well dressed man is a nice shined pair of shoes. I understand lots of people could care less about dressing up anywhere anymore. Ever see a man in a $500 suit or tux With scruffy shoes? Now--to me--thats silly :) IMHO The best Princess perk is internet minutes for Platinum members after only 5 cruises is unheard of on other lines. OBC option for Elites would be nice....What if you dont drink alcohol or coffee.

blkspy Posted April 26, 2016 #25 Share Posted April 26, 2016 (edited) Cunard's World Club gives two hours internet for Gold Members after only 20 cruise days. (Opening tier is Silver for those with fewer than 20 days). If you live on the West coast, you can sail in a Suite as a solo for 2 one night cruises (3 points each) at a cost of $149 and be Platinum. Or, sail 8 over night cruises at prices as low as $39 and become Elite. Its the 'hole' in the way Princess allows you to move up the Loyalty ladder. Wouldn't be surprised if Princess eventually move to a 'Days at Sea', (not # of cruises) way to earn loyalty level only. That's for another conversation :).
