dolittle Posted May 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2016 Is anyone else wearing these beach shirts (I don't know what they are called) my grandkids have been wearing them at the beach and pool for a couple of years(they are very fair skinned). I got one at Walmart for myself and really like it, no more sun burn or lotion on back and front. They dry fast and are comfortable and hide a lot of unsightly man stuff ,mostly my gut. Not sure what shirts you mean. Here in Aus a rashie is pretty popular, basically a shirt to stop you getting a rash from your board.

poobears Posted May 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2016 You can all different kinds of styles in sun safe shirts at places like Cabellas and Bass pro, the outdoor type stores. From athletic to sporty/fishing type shirts that button up. They are great for excursions, they wick away the sweat and keep you cool while keeping your from burning. Mistizoom Posted May 26, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 26, 2016 Yes, they are usually called rash guards or swim shirts. I like the ones from Lands' End.

slidergirl Posted May 26, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 26, 2016 I wear a rash guard when I'm at any water activity, have for years. I also have a couple that are so comfy that I use them as my tops when I go trail running. I've bought mine at the Athleta website.
