Who is the current captain of the celebrity eclipse? How long is the captains contract for? Sailed on celebrity on numerous occasions and have never had the same captain twice?

The captain for several years was Panagiotos Skylogiannis, but I believe he is now on Reflection.

 

They've been mixing things up recently it seems. The Sue Denning the CD on Eclipse for several years has moved to Millennium

Captain Michael Sympouras on the TA and Norwegian Fjords last month.

 

We left the Eclipse on May 22nd (following the Iceland/Ireland cruise), and he was also scheduled to leave on that date.

Is Captain Leo still onboard? We cruised with him Christmas/New Year Dec 2016 - loved him. Have booked again October 2017 Canaries from Southampton - wondering if he will still be onboard? Not sure how long they are on for ? Tia

Captain Leo told me in February that he would be back as the Master of Eclipse when we cruise the Fjords in late August.

He was our Captain Christmas/New Year cruise 2016 - fabulous captain, loved "the voice from above!" Really hope he's back for this cruise! :D

Captain Leo was on board Eclipse in Dec and was very accessible and personable. The captains are 3 months on 3 off and I believe he was leaving Eclipse at the end of Jan for his 3 months off. He didn't mention where he would be when he returned.
