Princess has released information on the next Stephen Schwartz production show scheduled to premier in the fall.

 

Princess Cruises today revealed the second musical production show created in collaboration with Oscar-, Tony- and Grammy-winning composer Stephen Schwartz and his team of professional creators, entitled – "Born to Dance" - a tribute to Broadway choreography featuring inspired performances that celebrate some of Broadway's most-famous hits.

 

"Born to Dance" is a is a high energy nod to dance, highlighting some of Broadway's most acclaimed choreographers and brought to life through the most memorable songs from iconic shows including "West Side Story', "A Chorus Line", "Chicago" and more. "Born to Dance" celebrates many of Broadway's most acclaimed choreographers and dancers, giving viewers a glimpse into what it takes to be a professional dancer.

We weren't either... it wasn't terrible, just not as good as hyped or expected. Princess is working on their entertainment - which they really really needed to do - but not quite there yet.

We saw Magic To Do on the Crown Princess this past April, my wife and I really enjoyed the show! Were so happy Princess is bringing in new production shows. Looking forward to seeing Stephen Schwartz new show in the future, "Born To Dance".

A show will usually be on a ship for about five years with a new cast about every six months.
