Jewel Jr suite noise?

Hi All,

 

Booked a Jr suite ( 1576 ) for an upcoming cruise...it's under the WJ....how much noise should we expect? This is going to be my mom's first cruise and I want everything to be perfect! Well as much as possible while traveling :)

I've been in the #1100 a few times and never had a problem.

We were 2 doors down in 1572 and didn't hear anything.

No problem, maybe a little chair shuffling around 6am

You'll be fine. If you're really sensitive to noise, bring earplugs. Noise from the hallway (and that goes for EVERY deck) will be more than from above.

Had 1580 on the Serenade. Very similar. It was very noisy. Noise was not from chairs - when I was in Windjammer I realized what it was. Noise was from the serving carts pushed around all day, including very early a.m. They use them for everything; not just for replenishing buffet, but for drinks, etc.

 

I am an early riser, so didn't bother me too much. I am usually up around 6:30. For someone wanting sleep later or nap, it could be a problem.
