Center Stairs on Royal

Regal is scheduled for drydock following its TransAtlantic in the Spring. Cruise ends in Hamburg; ship resumes two weeks later at Copenhagen.

Royal's was two weeks so since it was enough for Royal, it should be for Regal. Besides, the CD told us it was planned when we were on her in June.

Royal's was two weeks so since it was enough for Royal, it should be for Regal. Besides, the CD told us it was planned when we were on her in June.

 

I read a post that work started near the end of the Royal's cruise before drydock & the stairs were unavailable during the first couple of days on the post-drydock cruise.

Were the side aisles added to the Princess Theater like on the Regal?

Midship stairway is done. Extra staircase from lido to sun in aft.

 

Side aisles in princess theater now in place. Amazing lcd screens at aft elevators. HUGE.

 

Also new maps lcd screens too.

It could be that uploading a photo in the middle of the ocean tasks forever. I suppose we'll see a few when the ship docks on Sat.

Yes, I recall seeing her other photos and I think they were taken before the stairs were finished. I think it will be one of those times that we will see no photos and then all of a sudden everyone and their brother will be posting them.
