Hello,

Hoping to get some suggestions on transportation from Logan Airport to our hotel in the Back Bay area (The Midtown Hotel).

We also need suggestions on transportation from the hotel to the Black Falcon cruise terminal.

Thanks in advance.

Marcia

The downtown Boston hotels don't run airport shuttles. What hotel are you staying at? The easiest thing is to just take a cab. If you want to save some money, you can hop on the Silver Line, which is FREE at Logan Airport, and ride to South Station to get a cab, which will be about half the price of a cab from Logan because of the further distance, the tunnel toll, and the Logan cab surcharge.

Or from the airport take the shuttle bus to the Blue Line MBTA, take that to State Street station where you switch to an Orange Line train (heading towards Forest Hills) to Mass Ave. Station where you'll have a 5 minute walk to your hotel

Can anyone tell me about how much a taxi would cost from the airport to the Midtown Hotel at 220 Huntington Ave?

How about from our hotel to the black falcon cruise pier?

Can't decide on booking a shuttle service or just doing taxi's.

I'm seeing $36 for the airport to the hotel and $21 from the hotel to the pier.

If you take the free Silver Line to South Station, the estimate is $22 from South Station to te hotel. Post back for directions if you're interested in that.

If you are using a cab. We left the cars at my brother in laws place in Chelsea since he was going with us.

We got a cab there in Chelsea. Asked to go to the port

Well the cabby had no idea where Black Falcon Cruise Terminal was. Not a clue

I told him to go to south station and hang a left and go towards the big boat. We all had a big laugh. Sorry I didn't fly in. but if I did I would take the silver line.
