OhioMike2016 Posted July 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2016 If interested in watching Allure of the Seas or other cruise ships 'sail away' from FLL; you might be interested in this site for a web cam of Port FLL. http://portevergladeswebcam.com/ While I was at it, I check Maho Beach to watch some planes land. I notice a lot of big boulders on the beach. I do not remember them there before. Is this new? Is the beach disappearing? http://mahobeachcam.com/

Coralc Posted July 31, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 31, 2016 The hotels are constantly adding sand to that beach. It drops off quickly offshore, so any sort of active weather takes all the sand with it. We have been there on days when the sand trucks were delivering all day long. :D
Tony O Posted July 31, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 31, 2016 I asked a local about Maho and his reply was the ocean takes away and the ocean brings back.
