Diamond 1st timer

Hi

This might seem an odd question but I recently became a Diamond C&A member :) and I'm looking at taking a cruise with my daughter in February (just the two of us) who isn't a diamond member.

Not sure how it all works as this would be my first cruise at this level. Whilst I have an idea what benefits I get, I don't know if it means my travelling companion is excluded?? Does this mean that we are not able to go into the diamond lounge together?

Your daughter would still have her status and not yours unless she is under 18.

 

She would not have access to the D lounge but you do get 3 free drinks daily for use between 5 and 8:30pm that you may enjoy anywhere on the ship.

That list is quite old. There are no longer free internet minutes. It is now 1 free 24 hour period or $20 off a package. Also a few other things on there that I don't think are offered anymore.

Agreed, I'm surprised they haven't made that buy one get on free like they did with Johnny Rocket's. 2 pictures (1 each) is just right for us these days.

Ironically, if you and your daughter were sailing in the same cabin on Celebrity and you had diamond status with Royal, you both would be entitled to Reciprocity with Celebrity and get Elite privileges and benefits. ,
