Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor "Gold"

I supposedly have some benefits I can take advantage of with my "Gold" status:

1) Priority embarcation

2) Special breakfast for debarcation

3) Special onboard offers

I assume all this will be covered in the material we get with our Compass, but what experiences have you had with these benefits? What kind of shipboard offers will I find? Worth it?

Thanks!

the first two are misnomers. while there is a special line for repeat cruisers, it really does not get you checked in any faster. actual embarkation is by Wedding parties, Pinnacles, Suites, Diamond Plus, Diamond and then the rest of the C&A tiers before first timers. it may only be matter of a 5 minute difference getting on board ahead of first time cruisers.

EVERYONE has the same 'special breakfast' at debarkation: pastries and OJ in your departure lounge. or you get up an hour earlier to eat in the MDR or windjammer

I am sure someone else will post the most current list of coupons that Gold status gets. usually a BYGOF beer or wine, a Buy one get 10% off beer/wine and some spa, bingo, casino and shop discounts when you spend x number of dollars.

There IS (typically) a C&A Departure lounge you can use if you don't want to assemble in the one for your assigned number group. We were in group 37 on LOS this month which would have disembarked after 10:30, but went to the C&A lounge and they called us (only about 25) at 9:15 to leave. Not a BIG perk, but with a 6 hour drive in front of me, it was great.

Could be wrong but I thought you had to be at least Platinum to use that lounge.

The footnote on the Departure Day list just said "Crown and Anchor members" and no one was checking Sea Passes at the door. We were in the Dining room rather than the theatre.
