If they would change just one thing...

I would like to see a new Summer/Fall itinerary on the East Coast that travels one-way back and forth between NY and Port Everglades. This route is covered in repositioning cruises, but it would be nice to see this path used regularly. An itinerary of NY, Norfolk (for Williamsburg and the Tidewater area), Charleston, Savannah and St. Augustine (Jacksonville?) would be as desirable as the NY to Quebec itinerary, wouldn't it?

It will not be possible as this will break Jones, Marchmant (?) act of transferring passengers between US ports on foreign vessels. Ship will need to go to a distant port, at least Bahamas.

You need a foreign port. Can't do an all US Itinerary.

Change their cruises occasionally and go to interesting ports. This is not just a problem w Princess but all of the cruise companies go to the same places and most of the ports they go to are excruciatingly boring.

DON

Have you got any new, interesting and exciting suggestions?

If you had some (princess) fairy dust and could have Princess change one thing about what they do/offer - not about the ships themselves (and not the easy thing like "lower their prices" or "make sailing free") - what would it be?

Apologies, more than one.

1. Get rid of shower curtains add doors and make the showers a bit larger.:D

2. Include the tips in with the fare. When I price a cruise basics, its cabin fare, taxes, insurance and tips. So, by the time Princess get you interested in the "special fares" it is not quite so "special". So go ahead and add the gratuity. We pay it anyways as the service most of the time is satisfactory to say the least.

3. As an ex-smoker, I would also love to have all the interior smoke free (including the casino). With that being said, add more areas for smokers to go to.

4. Find a solution to "anytime dining" issues such as having to wait more than 15 minutes to sit down. I do not mind waiting for a table, but I do mind hearing that reservations are received and guaranteed. That should not happen for a group less than 9 persons.

That would have been effective but it wouldn't get the head waiter in trouble.

I got up once at the Crown Grill and walked to Vines to get 2 glasses of a good cab for me and my wife when I saw the wine list was just the usual main dining room list. The wait staff was mortified. Another nit pick with me and the Crown Grill....it should have the Vines wine list.

I would like to see more "real" 14 cruises instead of them going back to Ft. Lauderdale and then proceeding to other ports. Also agree with the door on showers, all those mega ships and stil the "curtain"!!

We are sailing on Caribbean Princess for the 14 day Circle Caribbean March 18, 2018. It's a true 14 day cruise.

You might want to check Celebrity. They have crazy good southern itinerary with Antigua, St Lucia, St Maarten and ABC.

Larger balconies on the newer ships. We would love to cruise on one of the newer ships. However, we spend a great amount of time on our balcony and hate the idea of such a cramped space. Love the Caribe balconies on the Grand Class ships.

Agree, plus. PLEASE bring back the full promenade - such a shame on the new ships. It is hard to feel the wonderful essence of being on the ocean when there is no promenade.

I would also like to enjoy a no-smoking casino. Even on a non-smoking night, it is hard to breathe in the casino.

I'd love to see Princess go to Cuba. I also really liked Santo Thomas, Guatemala, a port that is not frequently visited, but the Dulce River is beautiful.

I loved the 10 day partial transit Panama Canal cruise on Princess, since it is easy to get to Ft. Lauderdale, and Cartagena and the Panama Canal were wonderful to see.

The first poster might also like a Baltic cruise, and Princess has a nice itinerary there.

People want bigger balconies on the Royal class of ships. Sheesh... How about some OV rooms? It's either a dinky balcony or an inside cabin. Nothing in between.

I would take an OV room in a second, save a few dollars & extend my cruise for another trip.;)

Bring back the opportunity to purchase bottles of alcohol at the duty-free on the ship and take them back to your cabin. It would eliminate the need to smuggle stuff aboard and reduce the weight of the checked luggage. We used to be able to purchase the bottles at a duty-free shop before we boarded and then after we were underway, we would pick up the purchases. This might not be practical now, but buying the bottles onboard would work now.

With prices they charge for drinks in bars this will never happen. It is their income.

I'd love this, but.... slim chance.

I'd do without if I had to pay the prices that Princess charges for a bottle of liquor delivered to the room. Therefore it becomes almost inviting to smuggle what I want and need on a vacation on the ship. After all it is my vacation. :D

Please bring back the original loaded MEATLOVER'S PIZZA, not the skimpy ones served at the end before they were eliminated altogether.

You mean they used to have a decent pizza? Wow! People rave about the pizza on Lido deck but we find it to be pretty tasteless and pathetic. Alfredo's is a big improvement but it's not on many ships.
