How big are the sofa beds??

We will be cruising on the Liberty in July in a balcony room. I requested a king room and it has a sofa bed. Does the bed pull out into a bed or is it just the sofa part you seen in the pictures. My son is 6' tall and I want to be sure he will not be hanging off the end of the bed or be uncomfortable.

It's a SOFA BED. It will pull out in some fashion to be at least a twin mattress. Some (if the cabin sleeps 4) will be a double mattress.

Most of them aren't pull out sofas - usually just remove the back cushions of the sofa and make it up like a bed. My son is about 5'10" and his feet are close to or at the end of the bed, but he sleeps curled on his side so he says it's fine.

 

I think if you look at the deck plans for your ship, you can find your room and the symbols will tell you what kind of bed it is.

6' will be pushing it. But that's pretty tall for any typical bed.

Only foldout beds are in suites. In regular cabins, they just take the bolsters off, throw a pad on and sheets. EM

Our son who is over six feet tall and weighs over 250 slept on one without any problems. He said it was comfortable.

My son is 6'3" and his feet hung off the end.

It seems they are different lengths on different ships. Our teenage daughter is 5'10" and on Freedom, her feet hung over the end. On Breeze and Splendor, they didn't.

seperate the beds. smallest person goes on sofa. im 6 8. no way i go on a sofa.

We had a balcony cabin on Liberty. I don't know if the sofa pulls out into a bed or not, but here's a picture to give you an idea of how long it is.

Thank you My son doesnt seem to mind where he will sleep! I guess at 16, it doesn't matter. Lol;)

I'm 6'2" and just had the honor of sleeping on the sofa bed. It was very comfortable, and yes, my feet hung off the end. They also hang off the end of the normal bed too though on the ship.
