cruisewiththekids Posted May 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2017 I know RCCL's "sales" really aren't usually sales at all, but wondered if they generally do anything over Memorial Day that might be a real sale or offer special bonuses for booking during that time? I don't have a lot of experience booking with RCCL, but I thought some of you that sail them often might know.
leaveitallbehind Posted May 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2017 Seems like in the recent couple of years all the sales are essentially the same as you refer - "30% off", "1-2-Free", or some other similar offer that is much the same as the next one and really doesn't add up to much of a real "sale". I wouldn't expect anything different simply because it will be Memorial Day - unfortunately.

Clarea Posted May 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2017 How about "reel" (them in) and "sale:halo: or "sail" Much more appropriate.
Ocean Boy Posted May 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2017 Memorial Day Sale..... 60% off of the first day with all of the remaining days free along with $100 OBC that can be combined with C&A balcony discounts. And, somehow, this will end up costing more than booking before the sale.

Biker19 Posted May 14, 2017 #9 Share Posted May 14, 2017 Instead of looking for a fleetwide sale that will not come, look at individual sailings that are deals.
LisaAtlCruiser Posted May 15, 2017 #10 Share Posted May 15, 2017 A cruise is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. Don't wait for a sale. Look for a cruise you want to go on and it is at a price you are willing to pay - book it.
