Each day in St Petersburg we had lunch. The first day we went to a restaurant and the second to a cafe type of place which had Russian savory pies. We enjoyed both very much.

Pies. Two of us has mushroom and one rabbit and mushroom. They had three different sizes and you could choose based on what you preferred.

Day 9 Tallinn

If you plan on walking to Old Town it is about 20-30 min depending on how quickly you walk. It is uphill. Charming town but not much to do. We were in port today 7am-3pm. We didn't head into town until 9am and places were still closed other than the souvenir market and some cafes.

We docked at the new terminal which is not near the city center. Definitely need transportation to get there. I think it is about four miles.

I've really enjoyed seeing your pictures and reading about your experience on the Navigator.

We did a Baltic Cruise on the Queen Victoria a few years ago similar to your ports. We also had a private tour in St. Petersburg for 2 days, and it was fantastic. Seeing your pictures made me wish I was there again. We are taking the Navigator for the first time in September to the Canary Islands and Azores. It is refreshing to hear your positive comments about the ship. Did you see the ice show?

It gets really good reviews. We will have a balcony cabin on deck 6, but your suite looks beautiful.

Thank you for sharing.

Day 10 - sea day and third formal night.

Today we had a letter in our room that all non-EU passport holders had to turn in their passports for Belgium authorities and they will be returned once we leave Belgium on night 12. I went about 12pm and it took about 20 min to get through the line.

Had lunch in the dining room and the menu was different from the other day.

No, you didn't, Navigator is to high to sail under Oresund bridge. the sailing hight of Navigator is 63m and max hight for going under Oresund is 57m so it's not possible.

I met Naviagtor both times she sailed from Copenhagen to the baltic in 2016 and we are not sailing under Oresund bridge, but Great belt bridge.

To Jonj great pictures and lovely to see som pictures from my hometown, Oslo :)

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't think it did

Ah, Graffiti Classics are on. I dragged my OH along to see this and he was expecting normal classical music so was not looking forward to it in the slightest. He loved it!

Thanks so much Jonj for ALL the many photos and postings you've sent to the CC Forum. Two more days and we'll be taking that "big bird" east to London from Boston.

Even saw some people wearing shorts, so weather can't be too cool. The 10 day forecast is showing rain in at lease the first three countries. So that's what jackets and rain gear are for.

I wont be sending out any posts while we're on the cruise. You certainly have been a terrific help to us as well as others who are reading your posts and enjoying your photos.

Thanks,

Day 11 - at sea

It is a very windy day so windy they closed the open decks. Not a whole lot to do on the ship. With it being the last day at sea I would have thought they would have much more going on.
