Sea Days

Recommended Posts

Depends on the ship, but for me, all have a common theme:

On the Getaway, reading along the waterfront and going on the slides

On the Epic, reading in Spice H20 and going on the slides

On the Oasis of the Seas, reading in Central Park

For me, it's finding that quiet place where I can relax, but having a back up of fun things to do!

Happy Sunday! Upcoming cruise with 6 sea days makes me wonder what does everyone enjoy doing on their sea days? Any secrets?

I enjoy reading, working out, going to the spa (when I can afford it), wine tasting, trivia and people watching.

Your turn, go.......

Reading, socializing, casino tournaments, walking on promenade deck, napping, more reading. I'm not a pool person or lounge chair user.

Read, read, read...a luxury I never get to indulge in while at home.

Casino is fun as long as you set a strict limit - I use the penny slots to maximize my time.

Drinking is fun - if you drink more than 1 alcoholic beverage daily consider the UBP to save money (adds up quickly while in your lounger).

Trying at least 1 new food each trip in a new restaurant is a nice box to check

And...trying at least one new show or activity like trivia, painting...something that reminds us of each trip.

Enjoy!

Amy

Thanks Amy for the suggestions! I love trivia and hope to entice others to join me!

For me it's up at 6am to walk ALL of the hallways on ALL of the decks. In the process I'll explore the public areas and take some pictures. This rest of the day is eating, reading, nap, move to another location, eating, reading, nap, move to another spot, etc until dinner time. :D
