Cruise card punched

The kids have laynards for their cruise cards where can we get them punched.

On my last cruise they already had them punched, which made it easy. If they don't you can usually get it done at Passenger Services or in one of the retail outlets.

Yes, if they aren't punched then the passenger service can handle it for them.

Be careful if you have any electronics, iPhone, iPad etc anywhere near your cruise card. It might de-magnetise it and you won't be able to get into your cabin. A trip to Passenger Services is then needed to get a new card. Also happened to me when exercising on the treadmill in the ship's gym.

If I get a card with a hole in it, I will promptly go to Guest Services and get an undamaged one. I keep my cards in a binder as memories of wonderful travels.

The ship's boutique sells a lanyard and punches the card for use. You can have your card punched there or the Passengers Services Desk.

On several ships now new type cruise cards are being used which have electronics inside and can not have any holes punched into them.

I had a small purse with a closing magnet. had my lanyard with cruise card around my neck but close enough to the purse

that it made the cruise card stop working. So caution on anything with a magnet.

Caribill, what Princess ships have the cards that can't be punched(other than the Medallion). haven't come across any so far.

I went to the Princess Veterinarian and got my Medallion Chip inserted. No lanyard or hole punch needed.
