anteaters Posted August 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2017 Hi! My husband, who always took care of this, passed away and I will be doing my next cruise with my daughter and two granddaughters. I would like to make use of our Carnival stockholders credit but have no idea how to approach it. I asked a Princess rep for information and she couldn't help at all. I'd appreciate any detailed information of what I need, how I would get it, and to whom to send it. Thanks!

Attached is the application form which includes the procedure to request your Shareholder Benefit. It's not required to use the form but it helps the Princess Booking Support section receive complete requests to quickly issue our credit. Thrak Posted August 28, 2017 #14 Share Posted August 28, 2017 I used to fax my info from work but I gave up work as a bad habit. (:D) This last time I used a free online fax service. I "think" I used fax zero but can't remember. There are a number of free online fax services available. Just search Google for "free fax". It's quick and easy. Once you have faxed your information wait about 20 minutes and then call this number: 800 872 6779 ext. 30317 This is the direct extension to the folks who process the Shareholder Credit faxes. If you use a free online service just tell them that and they will find your fax and apply the credit while you are on the phone. If you use a "real" fax they will ask for the telephone number of the fax you used and then will use that number to find your fax.
Roadpossum Posted August 28, 2017 #15 Share Posted August 28, 2017 We've taken advantage of the Shareholder Benefit for a number of years now, and if I remember correctly, you need to wait until you have made your final payment (if you booked with a deposit) before you can fax it in. They never used to accept it prior to that point. Not sure if that policy has changed as we always wait... Curt

Go-Bucks! Posted September 17, 2017 #18 Share Posted September 17, 2017 The 90 day requirement has been removed from the 2017 shareholder benefit application, you can have it applied for cruises booked within the dates listed in the 2017 shareholder benefit information page. This is true. Last month I applied for the credit for 2 cruises - one in November, 2017 and one in May, 2018. I just snail mailed them and within a few days the credits were listed in my Personalizer! It's nice to do it in advance and not have to wait till after final payment.
