Hi! My husband, who always took care of this, passed away and I will be doing my next cruise with my daughter and two granddaughters. I would like to make use of our Carnival stockholders credit but have no idea how to approach it. I asked a Princess rep for information and she couldn't help at all. I'd appreciate any detailed information of what I need, how I would get it, and to whom to send it. Thanks!

The benefit is applicable on sailings through July 31, 2018 aboard the brands listed below. Certain restrictions apply. Applications to receive these benefits should be made at least two weeks prior to cruise departure date.

This benefit is available to shareholders holding a minimum of 100 shares of Carnival Corporation or Carnival plc. Employees, travel agents cruising at travel agent rates, tour conductors or anyone cruising on a reduced-rate or complimentary basis are excluded from this offer. This benefit is not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and, cannot be used for casino credits/charges and gratuities charged to your onboard account. Only one onboard credit per shareholder-occupied stateroom. Reservations must be made by February 28, 2018.

Please provide by fax or by mail your name, reservation number, ship and sailing date, along with proof of ownership of Carnival Corporation or Carnival plc shares (for example, photocopy of shareholder proxy card, shares certificate, a dividend tax voucher or a current brokerage or nominee statement with your brokerage account number blacked out) to your travel agent or to the cruise line you have selected below.

Follow this link: phoenix.zhtml?c=140690&p=irol-sharebenefit

Then click on the link on that page for all the info you need to request your benefit.

If your request clearly shows all the details outlined, your OBC should be applied fairly quickly.

Fax in your request with a letter (we save and edit the letter) and a copy of the page of your brokerage statement with the stock position. Black out all irrelevant information other than your name and your Carnival stock, such as account number or ther stocks. It takes no more than two business days.

Sorry about the death of your husband.

Attached is the application form which includes the procedure to request your Shareholder Benefit. It's not required to use the form but it helps the Princess Booking Support section receive complete requests to quickly issue our credit.

Although a direct link to the shareholder request form has now been posted above I believe THIS IS THE LINK you have been trying to post. :D

However, that page mostly just contains THIS OTHER LINK that brings up a pdf about the shareholder benefits.

I used to fax my info from work but I gave up work as a bad habit. (:D) This last time I used a free online fax service. I "think" I used fax zero but can't remember. There are a number of free online fax services available. Just search Google for "free fax". It's quick and easy.

Once you have faxed your information wait about 20 minutes and then call this number:

800 872 6779 ext. 30317 This is the direct extension to the folks who process the Shareholder Credit faxes. If you use a free online service just tell them that and they will find your fax and apply the credit while you are on the phone. If you use a "real" fax they will ask for the telephone number of the fax you used and then will use that number to find your fax.

We've taken advantage of the Shareholder Benefit for a number of years now, and if I remember correctly, you need to wait until you have made your final payment (if you booked with a deposit) before you can fax it in. They never used to accept it prior to that point. Not sure if that policy has changed as we always wait...

The 90 day requirement has been removed from the 2017 shareholder benefit application, you can have it applied for cruises booked within the dates listed in the 2017 shareholder benefit information page.

This is true. Last month I applied for the credit for 2 cruises - one in November, 2017 and one in May, 2018. I just snail mailed them and within a few days the credits were listed in my Personalizer! It's nice to do it in advance and not have to wait till after final payment.
