zqvol Posted August 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2017 There are a number of high end hotels right near the pier. I suggest that you check the Florida departures board or trip adviser. We always stay at the Marriott, but it is not inexpensive. In fact, anything near the pier is going to be on the high end of the price spectrum. Rare 1025cruise Posted August 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2017 Welcome to Cruise Critic. There is a board dedicated to the Florida Departure ports. You might get a better response posting there.

sail7seas Posted August 30, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 30, 2017 We like the Marriott Waterside in Tampa. :) It has been a while b ut we had 3 or 4 nice stays at Mariott Waterside, It is walking distance from the cruise ship terminal. There is also a Windham we had to stay in once as Mariott was fuly booked. I really disliked the Windham, and was happy to check out. Again, that was some time ago. We fully enjoyed Tampa as a pre/post cruise city.
