And finally into new territory. Well, new in the sense that it's been 20yrs or more. Not really doing too much differently. I did add a third mile to my daily walking habit several days ago. Diana Thank You. Know you can get your cruise gain off in six weeks. Faster if water weight. Bet it is, only 3 lbs. You enjoyed the cruise, right! Main Thing! Alas I'm up some. Had stayed the same till yesterday..then had Bunco, goodies and they got me a cake for my Birthday, then a few friends took me out to lunch. That wasn't enough. Because of sweets in mouth I picked at food during the night. BAD! Will get it off. Diana I leave Oct. 1st, home on Nov. 5th. What date do you leave and come back? I haven't even started getting ready. Been so hot and humid. Have to do things on with/my car. Other things to do that get me out of the house. So much to do. Well since I just recently joined I'm guessing since last Thursday I lost 1 lb.. I'm On day 18 of Whole 30 plan.and have lost about 6 lbs since beginning .. Mines longer but you just got back from one and get to go again. Rose.. Sorry you had computer trouble but good news you had a loss! You got back from a cruise and have another planned. After this one, nothing planned.:loudcry::D (Rose I play bunco with two friends named Rose and my SIL's name was Rose.) Hope everyone has a good weekend. Last few days haven't been doing as good as I should. Have to "walk the line" not think my kitchen is a buffet. Do you notice that you sometimes eat badly after you ate sweets or went out to big dinner? Dinner doesn't do it but sweets does and had Bunco. Too much sweets/food:eek: but thought I did good. After we got back from our cruise I had cereal the next morning for breakfast and thought "is that all I get"? But, that is back to normal. Rose, glad you lost. You will so enjoy that Panama Canal cruise next year. We did it a few years ago, was so great. Hope everyone has a good weekend. We finally are cooling down to temps.in the 80's. Cold is finally going away and Monday I'll get back to eating well. Right now I'm still kinda lethargic so taking in extra calories to keep my immune system going. Beautiful morning so took the dog on her first hike: She must still be stressed/weak because 2.5 miles and she was whipped. A/C got her back to normal: So shopping with the missus tomorrow (she's committed to doing better too) and Monday we'll be eating healthy, walking the dog, and feeling like a million bucks! I tend to pack on the muscle when I work out and not actually loose weight! But on a mini birthday trip this weekend and really trying to eat good. And appreciate the photos each week. I'm currently dogless. My 15yr old died in January and we haven't decided to take the plunge again yet. Likely won't until spring I imagine. You guys and your long cruises make me jealous! :) We're still bound by the school schedule, so a week at a time is about all we get. Diana, thats awesome you only gained 3lbs last cruise! That's probably already gone! I remember when 7+lbs was the routine for me. Fortunately I've improved that a good bit with recent cruises. Its been a disastrous weekend here as far as my routine goes. Already anticipating my recent success might go away Thursday. No loss, no gain so that's okay by me. I was surprised as I did eat a lot & even drank a couple of glasses of wine. That always amazes me when I think I've probably gained I haven't & vice versa!:confused: Have a great week. Guess I'm waiting for the last moment so I can stress!:D Jo I don't like shorter cruises any more, if a 7 day have to put two together. That's just me. Being away and you didn't gain, that's good. Belle ~ just goes to show different strokes! 2 weeks away from home is enough for me, I apparently can't take too much of a good thing!;) I do try to make it so I am away for almost 2 weeks like in the cruises coming up, both Caribbean, I'm doing 7 days on the Escape, a day in FLL then 6 days on Carnival Conquest. Next year the Med cruise is only 7 days so I'll stay 2 nights precruise near Venice & 3 days post cruise in Cinque Terre (if my body holds up, I'm starting to get some pain in my rt hip:() DH only likes to be away for 1 week unless it's a road trip so usually I travel solo. shootr ~ what a lovely looking dog you have there. When we did cruises to Europe twice and when I went by myself did a b2b. To me the longer the better. Would love to do the World Cruise but to pay double when so high already.
