Which Deck for PR Cabi

we are looking at booking the Independence of the Seas for a January 2019 cruise..which deck is the best to book an inside cabin that overlooks the atrium that has a good venue to observe the parades but avoids the noise...thanks

We've had PR rooms on Deck 6 and liked it for proximity to the Promenade and MDR, and no noise issues at all. That said, deck 7 or 8 will get you a bit better vantage probably I would consider one of those. Great category of rooms for sure.

Our choice would be deck 7 or 8. That way you have cabins above and below you. If you choose deck 6 you might be above a venue that is noisy.

I would choose deck 7. Deck 6 is fine as long as you're not above the pub, or another loud venue. IMHO, deck 8 is too high to really see what's happening on the promenade.

We've had cabins on both decks seven and eight we're pleased on each occasion.

Deck 6. I've been right over Guest Services and no sound issues. Really like being one stairs above Promenade, MDR, Champagne Bar and Cafe Promenade. Very convenient...

The windows are sealed, double-paned. Noise on a regular basis shouldn't be an issue. If you're on deck 6, you don't want to be about the bars....otherwise, the other areas are fine.

I also would choose deck 7 with a single exception: 6305, the Ben & Jerry's "Sweet". I've been in that cabin three times due to the perks.

We have stayed on deck 6 and 7 PR. Picked 6 again for our cruise in February. No noise issues and could see everything going on in PR. Staying in same rooms as last cruise. 6275 and 6277. They are in middle of PR. We love PR.
