They have iced coffee. Is that the same thing?

Well, not really. It is iced, but it's brewed by steeping coarse ground coffee beans and cool water for 15-20 hrs, straining it, then mixing this concentrate with water, cream, half & half or milk. "Regular" iced coffee is just hot brewed coffee with ice added. Cold brewed tastes very smooth and not bitter like hot brewed. They have it at Starbucks and other coffee shops.

Maybe you can special request it and they can treat it like a pour over? It will take a long time, but grab some snacks at the IC while you are waiting? :) Not sure if it even can be done that way, but it never hurts to ask.

It sounds similar to sun tea. You could probably make it in your cabin since it doesn't require heat and then add hot water from the buffet or IC. My sister gave me filter bags for loose tea and I'd imagine they would work to hold the coffee grounds too.
