"Shore Excursions"

Has anyone used an excursion company called Shore Excursions? How do their excursions compare to those offered by Princess as far as size, quality and price is concerned?

I have not used them, but they seem to be highly rated. I am finding that many of the excursion companies have increased their prices to be comparable with what the cruise lines charge. The benefit to going with an outside excursion vendor for me would be the smaller group.

Before you start booking ANY excursion, make sure what you want to do isn't easily done on your own! Most Caribbean things are very easy DIY things!

Shore Excursions is a broker and not s tour provider. Do the research and you'll be able to avoid that middleman.

Not sure if I’ve ever used that exact site. There’s a handful like them that act as a middle man for independent tours. I’ve always had good experiences. Sometimes the tours are cheaper, but they are always better and with a smaller group.

 

If you post what islands and what you want to do you may get other suggestions. When at all possible we prefer to book directly with the tour operator instead of a middleman.

I know some have used them and have had success.

 

If there is a specific port where you might want to use them consider asking on the ports of call boards too.

 

Also I find many reviews on the sister site of Cruise Critic at trip advisor.
