Did they stop the Taste Bar?

Did Carnival stop doing the Taste Bar? Don't see anything about it on their website anymore

I think I've read recently that it has been replaced on some ships. It's still on the Freedom.

Good deal was on the Freedom when we went in July so was hoping it was still there for Thanksgiving

There was one on the Victory last week. I'm not a huge fan, but it was there - we walked past it on the way to the Alchemy Bar :D.

I usually eat dinner late and I enjoy the Taste Bar around 5:30pm on the nights they have it. The Italian night is my favorite. I will miss it if it is discontinued.

On the last sea day, they had a soup that was also on the menu for the MDR that I wasn't interested in based on the ingredients. Until I sampled it at the Taste Bar without realizing. YUM. So glad I did.

It was on the valor early this month. We had pumpkin soup and short rib croquettes. This was about 6pm on promenade deck

We were recently on 14 day journey cruise on the Miracle. The Sushi guys were pretty much standing around with nothing to do. Very rare to see someone order it.

 

Would hope that this fails and they will go back to the taste bar. Do enjoy Nonna's meatballs.

The Taste Bars may still be on some of the ships, but they have been removed from all the deck plans on Carnivals web site. I would say their days are numbered.

I agree. I like those meatballs too. :) It's a shame more and more included options are going away, and more and more surcharge options are becoming the norm.

I would gladly pay for sushi in lieu of a free meatball any day.

The Sushi at Sea is located on the opposite side of the Deli on Conquest and Glory- where Mongolian Wok used to be so I'm not sure if they would get rid of the Taste Bar on that class of ship. But you never know.

I was on the Magic last Oct. and had a salad from a salad bar that was really good for lunch. Out by itself, was this at the taste bar? And if not, does anyone know where it is, wondering if on the Sunshine. There was no fee, and it was really good getting a good salad.

Both taste bar and for fee sushi bar are on the valor and the freedom . The Mongolian wok is also on both.
