Wishing the Nieuw Amsterdam cruisers a great cruise. Something I haven't seen before on HAL; there was a special luggage tag for people transferring to the Nieuw Amsterdam.

But, I'd bet that in rough seas and high winds, Prinsendam's guests would be more comfortable and enjoy their cruise far better than those aboard Independence of the Seas.

I'll take the P'dam any day in rough seas over the other ships I have been on. I know, it's been said before - but she really does "cut through the waves".

I saw a listing somewhere - he will be on Oosterdam Jan-Mar 2018.

Well, if I only get a brief look tonight, that was very nice with the sunset in the background....

The last thing I heard he was heading up the training school for a bit (may they produce more like him) and then, at the time, (Westerdam, 2017) I believe he said he was going to go to the Veendam after.

 

That's only what he told us at our Meet and Greet though .

Wonder if Prinsendam will be the first HAL ship to sail at her scheduled (or close to it) time in ages?

I'll sadly wait until dark and see if I can watch the Elegant Explorer. Just wish she would leave in the daytime but she has a lot to do in FLL.

 

She does leave in the daytime when we sail on her next year :)
