Rare Cruise Raider Posted November 28, 2017 #11 Share Posted November 28, 2017 LA to LA.................9 NIGHT PACIFIC COASTAL CRUISE 9 Nights, Celebrity Eclipse, Departs November 11, 2019 Vancouver to LA 7 NIGHT PACIFIC COASTAL CRUISE 7 Nights, Celebrity Eclipse, Departs October 13, 2019 LA to LA 7 NIGHT PACIFIC COASTAL CRUISE 7 Nights, Celebrity Eclipse, Departs October 20, 2019 Yooohoooo.... very excited about these itineraries and even more so that we are getting a different / newer ship out on the west coast. I only wish she was going to Alaska out of Seattle instead of Vancouver. Don't get me wrong, Vancouver is a lovely city but they really need to work on the embarkation at Canada Place. Three cruises in a row we've had very chaotic embarkations. But, might be worth it to sail on a newer Celebrity ship. Or ... maybe will just do the Pacific Coastal out of LA instead. Either way, waiting for better perks or better pricing before we book.

vtcruising Posted November 28, 2017 #22 Share Posted November 28, 2017 I've read this a few times now in various places, are they saying that you only get a perk with a nonrefundable deposit? I booked today with a refundable deposit and I got one free perk and the choice of Go Better or Go Best for more $$. My understanding is that it means you save up to $300 if you choose a nonrefundable deposit (NRD) - mine was $100 PP less if NRD. I tend to think of it in the opposite manner - that the NRD is the usual price and I am paying more to keep my deposit refundable.
