Rotterdam Smoking Question

Do they allow smoking on any open decks on Rotterdam? If so, which side and where.

Trying to pick a room, and trying to minimize possible exposure to smoke.

Thanks so much.

At the retreat bar area (what is called sea view pool on other ships), aft. I get turned around easily ;) but I believe it was on the port side just as you exit the Lido.

It's not a big area.

It is on the starboard side of the ship (to your left as you exit the Lido to go aft.)

I told you I got turned around ;):')

Yes, of course, I agree starboard since you are facing the aft, not forward.

Thanks for the correction.

Star board is the right side when facing to the bridge which is Ifront of the ship) Easier to explain -- easier to remember.tthis way, IMO

LEFT is four letters as is Port. Port is left side when facing to the bridge (front of th e ship)

As long as you always remember where the pointy end is ;p

Thank you very much for the port vs starboard lessons. Helpful as always.

As a follow up to my original question, do they allow smoking on the lower promenade deck and if so, port of starboard (See I was paying attention :) ).

Thanks so much.

No. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area and in a small area in the casino that is designated for smokers (sign on the slot machine) that are playing (spending $).

Thanks so much. Amazing they still allow smoking in the casino.

You are most welcome. We were just on her in March-April - May, 2017 so I think the info is pretty up to date.

I can't address the casino only to guess from the way I saw the spots used that the casino was making money off them ;)

The area is very small for smokers. The rest of the casino is non smoking.
