ARCruisinNana Posted February 27, 2018 #26 Share Posted February 27, 2018 If the cabin has a sofa bed (cabin holds 4 people) the bed will be by the bathroom. These cabins have [emoji832]next to the cabin number on the deck plan. Sent from my iPad using Forums
TimeToGetNauti Posted February 27, 2018 #27 Share Posted February 27, 2018 The method described in this thread is only for Oasis class ships. There may be a similar method for Quantum class. However, for Radiance, Voyager, and Freedom class ships, the balcony stateroom bed position is always by the balcony. Awesome. Thank you.

martinclm Posted February 27, 2018 #30 Share Posted February 27, 2018 What about cabin 11690 on Harmony? The next cabin after ours is across from the Boardwalk balcony cabins. Does that make a difference?

mafig Posted February 27, 2018 #34 Share Posted February 27, 2018 We found when we had a cabin near the bathroom the heat was unbearable during the night. The first and third cruise we got a cabin next to the balcony and it was a lot cooler during the night and it was nice to sit in bed in the morning and look out to sea. I've read this before but I don't understand why having the bed by the balcony makes it "a lot cooler." It's only few feet.

Bed by balcony 8568 ac worked well and we had this cabin on 2 seperate cruises.
martinclm Posted February 27, 2018 #37 Share Posted February 27, 2018 Is there anyway to switch the configuration and then switch back? Never been on Oasis class ship. Please be kind if this is a really stupid question! Probably bring a small fan in luggage. Never had a problem with the fan so probably won’t be a problem. legendaryheck Posted February 27, 2018 #38 Share Posted February 27, 2018 Will Symphony follow these same rules? We'll be in 12677 and were trying to figure out what configuration it'll be in.

Mjawaverunner Posted February 27, 2018 #40 Share Posted February 27, 2018 We had 7244 on 10/22/17 on Allure which is a connecting room on the left if looking in from hall. The bed was by the bathroom. This was a JS if it matters Sent from my iPhone using Forums

The cabins are not rectangular and the bed will not fit in the narrower section of the cabin.

Ourusualbeach Posted February 28, 2018 #46 Share Posted February 28, 2018 Ken, do the view staterooms alternate bads like the balcony staterooms? The view cabins for both CP and BW do alternate.. that was our first cabin on an Oasis class ship a few years ago.

Thanks for the catch, totally missed that they were view staterooms. I imagine the Royal Promenade view staterooms are the same.

Ocean Boy Posted February 28, 2018 #49 Share Posted February 28, 2018 I don't believe the interior staterooms alternate bed locations like balcony staterooms. Interior cabins do alternate, at least the ones located on the main passageways. I specifically checked it out while I was on Allure. I don't know about interior cabins that are in the mazes between the port and starboard passageways.
