Voyage Log

I’ve heard many say they no longer got a Cruise Log. Maybe this is only for short cruises, but we got a Voyage Log last night.

We were happy to receive them on our back to back on the Eurodam in January. It's a new format, but still a great way to remember a cruise.

That's the one we got in January after my partial Panama Canal transit cruise. I was happy to get it, but missed the ones that listed how long we were at each port -- when we docked and when the last lines were loosed and I really miss the ones from years ago which detail how much food & drink was consumed onboard.

I got one for both of my Oosterdam 7 day cruises in February, 2018. Round trip San Diego. Interestingly, both trips reported using exactly the same amount of eggs.......... but did report a slightly different crew count for each voyage. ;)

They usually put it in the photo book when you buy the embarkation photo.

I like the new Format, too, and would be very happy receiving this! We really missed not having the Cruise Log on our two Kdam Cruises and our Oosterdam, PC Transit.

It’s a really nice thing. The gold was like engraved. Almost like something you could have framed if you wanted.

Just off the NA yesterday and was pleased to see the cruise log in our cabin the last night. It's very attractive but an odd (rectangular) size. I hated to fold it in half but had to so that I could put it in my travel folder with my other paper work. I was afraid it would be ruined if I'd tried to pack it unfolded in my suitcase.

We also got a (new style, I guess) cruise log last night on Eurodam. We didn't get one at the end of our 14 day Alaska cruise on Amsterdam last August.

We received the same on our February 18 Koningsdam cruise.

 

Glad to see the voyage log return in a much classier format.

I hope they started them again. We didn’t get one on our 14 day Veedam in December 2017
