Do Butler's still line up in the foyer and escort the suite passenger into the theater. DH and I find that rather uncomfortable and would prefer to seat ourselves. However, we do like the roped off location for the views. Going to be in SS on upcoming Eclipse cruise.

Yes, the Butler wants to escort you. We no longer take advantage of this as it is awkward as we are so much taller than most butlers and we don’t care for the seats.

In January on Eclipse you just meet the Butler on the Balcony where the seating is and they remove the rope to allow you to sit. 5 mins prior to showtime they open the section for all.

This would be better than being marched in holding the Butler's arm. ;)

Nothing could have been more awkward than when my dress shoe broke, mid stride, about 10 feet away from greeting our Butler a couple of years ago. My daughter and I were in hysterics over the incident! Our Butler was mortified. He didn't know how to react...be serious faced or laugh. He stayed serious and concerned, and tried to take my shoe to go fix it. Believe me...it was beyond repair! So my daughter went back to the stateroom to get me another pair of shoes while the Butler escorted me into the theater. I had one shoe on and one off. :o:D:o

On the Celebrity Summit were do they seat the suite quests?

....

We spent a month on the Summit last fall, and on evening chic nights at the area reserved for suite passengers two butlers were there standing along the roped off section (one on each side). They would open the roped area for you and we selected our own seats.
