1st time cruiser with 2 easy questions

Hello. We are going on Carnival and I have two questions.

 

1. Even though we can't bring irons, can we bring little steamers or are irons available?

 

2. Is there an incidental fee that is charged at the beginning of the cruise (like you get at a hotel)?

Regarding the second, I don't think any line has come up with charging a daily "resort fee"................................so far.

You cannot bring a steamer. There are self service laundry rooms on all Carnival ships and there are irons there. There are no incidental fees, they are all included in your fare. EM

The self service laundry rooms have irons that can be used with NO CHARGE. That maybe the only freebie on the ship. :)

There is the daily "gratuity" charge of $12-$15 per day, per person.

It is time that they do start charging nonrefundable resort fees and put a end to gratuities.
