princessliz1 Posted April 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2018 would you rather have a bed by the balcony or a bed by the closet on Oasis?

Clarea Posted April 18, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 18, 2018 We prefer the bed by the balcony, because when the bed is by the closet, there is very little room to access the closet.
princessliz1 Posted April 18, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted April 18, 2018 Thanks! Glad to hear this is preferred, since we have a bed by the balcony :)
Ken at the beach Posted April 18, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 18, 2018 On Oasis and Allure I prefer the bed by the balcony. On Harmony and Symphony I found it doesn’t matter as the rooms are laid out differently and the lack of space between the bed and the closet is no longer an issue. LuCruise Posted April 18, 2018 #15 Share Posted April 18, 2018 Most will say bed by balcony but I'm the opposite. I always get up in the night and thus prefer bed closer to closet/bathroom ....less to trip on if dark. Tacosha Posted April 18, 2018 #16 Share Posted April 18, 2018 We can tell you if you post the ship and stateroom number. I'm not the OP, but I'm curious as to where my bed will be located too. Does anyone know about room # 9721 on Allure of the Seas? This will be my first cruise on Royal Caribbean.

dacsmom Posted April 19, 2018 #20 Share Posted April 19, 2018 I'll take any bed on a cruise ship. To me it really does not matter where it is. I am an odd one who kind of likes to be surprised when I walk in to a cabin for the first time.
Snit13 Posted April 19, 2018 #21 Share Posted April 19, 2018 We are happy when we find the bed in the cabin Good answer. I agree, as long as I am on the cruise I don't really care where my bed is in the cabin.

klb1978 Posted April 19, 2018 #23 Share Posted April 19, 2018 We prefer bed by the balcony. Although our upcoming cruise on Oasis it’s by the closet :/ I was a bit bummed at first to learn this, but oh well! My mom booked the cruise and wanted connecting rooms. Not going to argue with the lady paying the bill ;) Seriously though we are just thankful and thrilled to be going on a cruise after a five year hiatus! My mom is awesome and we can’t wait for our upcoming family cruise
