Does Carnival have decent "Memorial Day" sales?

It seems to me that even when they are having the “best sale ever”, the end cost is the same price as if there was no sale. The only difference I notice is the amount of OBC they offer with each sale. If there’s a cruise you’re ready to book, I’d go ahead and book it.

It has been my experience that the only time Carnival has good sales is right after you book a cruise. And it always says that you can't use it on an existing booking.

??? Carnival has a price protection guarantee on every cruise fare up to final payment date. Just fill out the form and they will adjust the price.

If you book Early Saver, that price protection guarantee extends to up to 48 hours before your ship sets sail in the form of OnBoard Spending Credit for he lower price difference.
