King Beds

Most cabins the main bed is actually 2 twins pushed together. They don’t seem to call that a king online. The cabins they do call a king seem to be the ones where the bed can not be split into twins. All that said, I feel like two twins pushed together feels as big as a king and likely is.

The two beds that are pushed together to make the "king", are smaller than standard twin beds. When pushed together they are about the size of a queen, maybe a little bigger, but not close to the king that is our bedroom at home.

King beds are found in suites and due to their metal frame structure can not be separated.

The beds in other cabins can be split - the beds are normally set up as one and your cabin

attendant needs to be notified if you wish them split. This usually results in one bed being

scrunched up against a wall while the other has passage on either side - larger cabins

will of course make a difference moving the wall locked bed out from the wall.

For assistance in booking a specific cabin - Possible to use You.Tube; Cruisedeckplans;

Yahoo and Google to get a video or photo image of the cabin and the bed layout if someone

has posted same.

SEARCH: NCL (ship name) and cabin number i.e. NCL DAWN 12520

One size arrangement does not fit all cabins on all ships. If you don't find what you are

looking for try the mirror image of cabin and great if CC members post cabin photos to

answer questions of the layout floor plan.

Remember to ask your cabin attendant - it is his job to make you comfortable.
