Ordering soda in MDR

Recommended Posts

If someone orders a soda in the MDR at lunch or dinner and does not have a beverage package, is it served in a can or in a glass from the fountain? Do you get free refills? What is the cost?

Trying to see if the soda pkg is worth getting for us. Thanks!!

You get a can and a glass of ice. No refills. I think the cost is around $4.

You will get a can of soda if you order in the MDR and do not have a drink package. No refills, but you can buy another can.

Better to bring it with you....it will take forever to get it served.....as they have no beverage servers:rolleyes:

On our 12-day Anthem cruise this winter I ordered a 24-pack of diet coke for the minibar for $40 plus 18% gratuity. So just about $2 per can. You can get 6 or 12 packs for a bit more per can if 24 cans are too many. You can take them with you anywhere and just get a glass of ice.

Can you order this online before your cruise?

The server & assistant now handle beverage service in the dining room.

They took all the drink orders.

And brought us wine, beer, & other mixed drinks throughout the entire trip.

That's great but most times we ordered soda it took forever and dinner was finished, better off to bring it with you.. Even coffee is slow and dessert is served and 10 minutes later coffee shows up.

That all depends on who you get as a server.

Our teams were great on the last 2 trips...
