Someone on FB just posted they have had 2 of their cabins on Preziosa just upgraded to YC, they found out when they went to checkin.

Did they bid or complementary upgrade?

Complimentary upgrade they didn't know until they checked in. 

Someone else on the same forum had also received an upgrade, although not to YC.

They were all UK passengers, had anyone in the UK received an option to bid for an upgrade?

Complimentary and 2 of the balcony cabins they had booked.

I'd guessed it was another one to add to the list of benefits and options which 'doesn't apply to the UK' 😠
