ebslcc Posted December 19, 2018 #476 Share Posted December 19, 2018 There are additional storage space under the TV and a little bit of space on the side of the mini fridge. I think these are new fridges. It works well. It is not noisy at all. It does not heat up the cabinet too much.

He said he will take 2-3 weeks off around end of Feb. He is the best Executive Chef we’ve encountered on cruises. He is always around checking on the food service, talking to guests, making sure everything is right. We love his hands on approach and how he organizes Terrace Cafe specials. When we were in our South Africa cruise he brought on board fresh local fish and made local specials in the Terrace cafe. He did it again on our Cuba cruise. The sea beam was excellent!!! The Cuban specials were also the best Cuban food we’ve ever had. See photos below.

Rare Waynetor Posted December 20, 2018 #483 Share Posted December 20, 2018 Thanks very much for the 4035 accessible cabin photos. We have it booked for the 2020 w/c. Getting rid of the tub makes a lot of sense.n

I'm on ATW19 so very happy to hear about the chef. Those food pics are making me hungry! I find it hard to believe I'm so blessed to experience this upcoming world cruise....it's a dream come true. And very glad I chose Oceania. 😌

Although you could use them for salad dressings I recall that menu is primarily intended for what is to be served with your bread in Toscana . Personally i always ask them for butter instead, which seems to annoy the waiters to no end.

ebslcc Posted December 20, 2018 #490 Share Posted December 20, 2018 Library. It doesn’t look like the book collection has not changed much. The latest Loney Planet version is from 2017. 2
Classiccruiser777 Posted December 20, 2018 #491 Share Posted December 20, 2018 Thanks for posting. It appears to me that the library remains largely untouched. All in all the ship looks beautiful. Did Waves and Terrace Cafe change much? Did the new TV system work well?
Mura Posted December 21, 2018 #492 Share Posted December 21, 2018 I agree that the Library appears much the same -- which I appreciate because I'm not fond of the lighter colors around the ship. I admit that I liked it the way it was! When we bought our apartment in 1980 I was pleased with the cherry wood cabinets ... but today I'd probably go for white or beige. Even so, I liked the dark wood around the ship as it was before. If the collection hasn't been updated I'm a bit surprised. There were always the classics that stayed on board forever, but also newer books. Mura

bob brown Posted December 21, 2018 #494 Share Posted December 21, 2018 Hmmm....I may have to do it in two trips, but I think I can drag one of those brown leather club chair's, and its matching ottoman down into my cabin on Deck Four....

bradpole Posted December 21, 2018 #498 Share Posted December 21, 2018 Thank you for all the wonderful photos! As much as I would have loved a little refreshing of the Library I'm so glad to see those leather chairs and ottomans are still there. It is truly our favorite spot on board to sit and read!
