#1TravelMom Posted August 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Just off the Harmony. We had a fabulous time and are going back in November. One issue - the bathroom is tiny and we just couldn't figure out where to hang our things to dry. We have cruised many times and I am aware this is a "first-world" problem. I was hoping for any clever tips you may have.

Brandis Posted August 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Don‘t they have the pull-out cloth line in the shower? Had them on any cruise ship until now. As the air vent is right above it, the swimwear dries pretty fast. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
bob63005 Posted August 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 8, 2018 We always take a hanger out of the closet (one of the ones with the two clips) and hang it on the AC vent in the ceiling dries real quick
pcur Posted August 8, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2018 I keep an area of the lower rack in the closet nearest the door free. Put a folded towel on the floor, and hang the suit above it. It gets a lot of air flow from under the cabin door, especially when the a/c is on. It's out of the way, dripping is on the towel, and it dries overnight. SbbquilterUT Posted August 8, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Hook magnets on the ceiling in the cabin, right by the air vent. Wrap rinsed suit in a towel and stomp out excess water. Hang from hanger, hook to ceiling magnet.
cruzer_3 Posted August 8, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 8, 2018 If you have a balcony, just buy clips to clip the bathing suits on the chairs outside the balcony.
taleksun Posted August 8, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Hi, we had a inside cabin not sure if the out cabins have the same setup. I used the hangers in the closet with the clips and hung it on the ledge over the sofa. See picture! By the way we, my DW son and I will be on B2B in November :D Hope this helps. azarak Posted August 8, 2018 #9 Share Posted August 8, 2018 I also drape them across the balcony chairs and pull the chairs as close to the cabin door as I can just as an extra measure of protection against the wind. I know it's frowned upon but they dry quickly and with the chairs pulled all the way back it's not as noticeable to other cruisers.
Rare John&LaLa Posted August 8, 2018 #10 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Hang it from the ceiling air vent, no need for magnets, plenty of air flow. That's where cabin steward hangs the towel monkey Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
cb at sea Posted August 8, 2018 #11 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Yes, indeed....drape on a hanger and hang that from the air vent in the cabin. Just towel dry them, so they're not soaking wet. I just shower off at the pool, in my suit, let it get mostly dry, then simply hang it up when I get back to the cabin.
Goofyfanatic Posted August 8, 2018 #12 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Heavy Duty Magnets. I seem to remember RCCL saying that these aren't allowed anymore. Am I correct on that?
orla56 Posted August 8, 2018 #13 Share Posted August 8, 2018 I put mine on the bottom towel rail or on the door handle or hooks in bathroom.
karena1 Posted August 8, 2018 #14 Share Posted August 8, 2018 I just hook them on the door hooks. They are dry by morning and I throw them in the laundry

Rare JamesEM Posted August 9, 2018 #16 Share Posted August 9, 2018 (edited) If you have a Jr. Suite, hang it the walk in closet, great air flow. Edited August 9, 2018 by JamesEM Typo

As the air vent is right above it, the swimwear dries pretty fast. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk The Harmony and other new ships no longer have retractable clotheslines in the shower. I have some heavy spring clothespins with hooks that I can find any number of places throughout the cabin to hang clothing to dry. Shak

KnightsFan Posted August 9, 2018 #21 Share Posted August 9, 2018 Like other said, we roll ours into towels to dry them, then hang them from any available surface. We also don't mind putting back on a damp suit if we're going straight to the pool/hot tub.

Sitzmark Posted August 9, 2018 #24 Share Posted August 9, 2018 The Harmony and other new ships no longer have retractable clotheslines in the shower. That stinks, I assumed we'd simply hang things over the tub.
