24" Suitcase at Port Everglades

At Port Everglades Cruise Port - Can I carry on a 24" piece of luggage?  Or do I have to check the luggage with the porters?

Your bag needs to go through a standard airport carry on xray machine. It will probably fit.

My first cruise with Princess like 2 years ago I travelled solo and missed the luggage drop off, so I was towards the front of the line and didn't want to lose my spot so I took my 29 inch luggage through the X-ray scanner. It fit. Luckily the room was immediately ready and I didn't have to drag it around.
