Kim225 Posted October 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2018 Can you please tell me which type of OBC is refundable at the end of the cruise, if not all OBC is used? We will have OBC from RCCL, Travel Agent and RCC Credit Card. I am not sure if we will spend all of the OBC and hoping that some will be refundable if it is not used. Thank You! Some TA OBC is actually a pass-through from RC. Ask your TA.
Dennis#1 Posted October 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2018 What on-board credit (non-refundable or refundable) gets used first on a cruise. As an example, does RCCL use non-refundable credits for Gratuities?

Another question - if one has both unused refundable and non-refundable OBC, can you use some of that OBC at the casino by getting cash (less their 5% service charge)? molly361 Posted October 30, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 30, 2018 You can get cash at the casino. Unless you have a cash account you will pay the 5% service charge. Just did this last week on the AL. DON'T mention you want to take out OBC just ask for x amount of dollars to be put on your Seapass card.
Thorben-Hendrik Posted October 30, 2018 #8 Share Posted October 30, 2018 On some ships the casino stopped giving you cash when you have OBC... so the work around is dying!

Of the $550 OBC, $500 is non-refundable. My TA is paying for gratuities, so that is not an option. On prior cruises, I have taken cash out at the casino. Going safe route, it red or black come up you lose $50. If green comes up I think you make $200. It was free money, so have fun Edited October 30, 2018 by John&LaLa

Sounds like you can still get cash if you are playing table games.
