Question about the luggage tags. How did it work? How did the priority passengers get their tags, the usual way the night before?

Bermuda looks beautiful, glad you had a great cruise.

Thanks for reading. Bermuda is a beautiful island. Priority passengers receive their luggage tags when they receive their priority debarkation letter. If you need more tags they are available at Guest Services. Non priority passengers must go pick up their tags. The time and location is listed in the General Debarkation letter. :classic_cool:

I finally made it to read your review Jeff! Thanks for taking the time to post it.

Off subject but....when I was doing my review I could NOT figure out how to post my pics and then add text and post another pic, I had to add them and they all showed up at the end of the post. How did you space yours out? Just curious...

Always glad to have you along for the ride. Can't wait for our Sunrise cruise to Bermuda! :classic_biggrin:

Here is how I post our reviews. The first step is to select the pictures that I am going to use in each post. The old CC software would only let you post up to 6 pictures. The new format seems to not have a limit, but I am conditioned to use only 6 to 10 pictures for each post.

Once the photos are selected I then weave my story around them. I write all of my text in Word, leaving a couple of lines of space between descriptions. It is not unusual for me to write out 20 or more posts of text before I copy and paste each post into the review. When I'm ready to post I open another window to my photo hosting site and the pictures I will be copying in.

First I copy my text for each post from Word into the post. Then I place the cursor between the lines of description and copy the appropriate picture to that location. I continue that way until all my pictures for that post have been copied in.

Before submitting I check all the spacing and adjust where necessary by adding or subtracting lines. Once I submit I will check one more time to make sure all the spacing is correct and if I still need to tweak I will go back and edit until I'm happy.

Sorry to be so long winded. Bottom line is, put the text in first, then add the photos in the appropriate places. :classic_biggrin:

Thanks to both of you for the great review and pictures. I'm starting to plan our 25th anniversary trip. I was looking at Sunshine to Bermuda out of Charleston for early September (we live an hour away) but then I noticed Pride in mid September.  The Sunshine has the 4:00 pm to 4:00 pm the next day schedule, but it has a  day at either the private island or Grand Turk.(I forget) I'm thinking it might be worth it to drive to Baltimore for more time in Bermuda.  Plus I love an aft Serenity area. When the weather is good on the sea days does Serenity get too crowded?

Thanks for reading! I believe that if you are going to cruise to Bermuda choose a 6 or 7 day cruise that just does Bermuda. You really need more than one day just to scratch the surface. We will be going back mid September next year on the Sunrise and will have two overnights. If I were you I would choose the Pride. Serenity will get crowded on sea days, but haven't had a problem getting a chair.:classic_cool:

Do you know if this would be the same menu for the Freedom? This one is different than the one on the Breeze. Or did they all change?

I thought I read somewhere that the Freedom has the new menu. We were on the Conquest earlier this year and it still had the old menu. :classic_cool:

Thank you Jeff for another great review.  I'm looking forward to your next one.  We just booked the Miracle for next December for Hawaii.  Hope to learn a few things from your experience.  Hope the hip surgery went well.  Happy 25th to both you and Patti a little early.

Thanks for reading! My hip has been replaced and I'm ready to go. We are really looking forward to this Hawaii cruise. Only a little more than a month until we fly out! Thanks for the Anniversary wishes! :classic_biggrin:

Thank you for another great review!  We had been booked on this cruise and started having second thoughts because of the weather.  We ended up cancelling it and booking Legend to Alaska this May.  I still want to cruise to Bermuda, but will do it during a warmer month.  We cruised on Breeze this same week to the Western Caribbean and think we made the right choice!  Hope that your surgery went well and that you are all ready for your cruise next month!  Congratulations on #50....

Thanks for reading! We will never go to Bermuda in October again. It is warm then but just not beach weather. We'll be heading back in September.:classic_biggrin:

Wish we were going in September!  We are expanding our May Alaska trip before and after in Seattle, so I don't see that happening this year. 🙂

  1. WOW!  What an amazing review, and the pictures and info is so helpful as we are going on the Pride in September out of Baltimore. May I ask about your cabin?  We are booked in a cabin near the one you had, was it a comfortable room for sleeping as far as rocking or vibrations I hear that it tends to have?  Hoping to see more reviews about what happened in drydock. This will be our 1st cruise on Carnival and are very eager for it.  Thanks again!!

And cheers to you, Patti!  One of these days/years, I hope we will actually be able to CLINK  our glasses together on board a ship!  I JUST read this review and it was fantastic as usual!  Glad your THR went well and you are recuperating.  I worked for Orthopedic Surgeons for 33 1/2 years and I also have a HR on my "bucket list." Enjoy your short countdown to your anniversary cruise.  We are in dry dock for a while.  I will send you an email one of these days!  CRUISE ON, and happy planning to you both!

Hey Karry!  We've been wondering where you have been. How was your Journeys cruise on the Pride? Are you still booked on the Sunrise in October?  We are so ready for our cruise to Hawaii. Keep in touch! :classic_biggrin:
