Logansdaddy Posted November 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2018 Going on the Fascination next week. Couple guys from work want me to pick up some bottles for them. Where should I get them for the lowest price? On the ship, Puerto Rico, St Thomas, Barbados, St Lucia, St Kitts, St Maarten? I get to keep the change so the cheaper the better 🙂 Thanks! Moviela Posted November 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2018 They sell them onboard for $50 each, but you must buy six. Try the liquor stores near the pier. Going rate is $ 40 to $50 each.
Moviela Posted November 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2018 Sorry, left off my suggestion. Note the name of the shop is spelled differently than the English version. Cannegie Liquor Store
soccer2010 Posted November 18, 2018 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2018 In St. Maarten, take the water taxi to the bay (Front Street I think). Best place I have found for liquor is right in front. Stop at Juggies while there for 2 beers and a Cuban for $2.99 and a free conversation with the most interesting Juggie at the World's Smallest bar.

Cobrakev Posted November 18, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 18, 2018 All I know is you can sell them for about 150 a bottle here in the states.
Corby114 Posted November 18, 2018 #8 Share Posted November 18, 2018 AH Risse is located on Main Street in St Thomas and has the largest selection and the best prices. Liquor exemption is six liter bottles per person providing that one bottle is produced in the United States Virgin Islands.
soccer2010 Posted November 18, 2018 #9 Share Posted November 18, 2018 All I bought was Silver Patron. (2) 1-liter bottles for $50 plus they thru in (2) small/sample bottles.
Carolina Girl 99 Posted November 18, 2018 #10 Share Posted November 18, 2018 We were just in St Martin this past March and took a catamaran excursion that left from the Chesterfield's dock about a 10-15 min. walk from the ship pier. There was a small store there selling Hennessy PW for $35 USD per bottle
Logansdaddy Posted November 19, 2018 Author #11 Share Posted November 19, 2018 Just to be clear, will I have to pay taxes coming back or just cruise through customs? Won't spend more than $800 and will probably have no more than 5 bottles.... plus whatever souvenirs.
Jordan's Mom Posted November 20, 2018 #12 Share Posted November 20, 2018 Just got off the Fascination on 11/11. Cheapest port for alcohol hands down is St. Kitts in my opinion. But when we left St. Maarten I saw deliveries of cases of Hennessy being delivered to the ship labeled with cabin numbers. the ship sold out on day 2 of the cruise. Not sure exactly the price but it was in the $30s, and to get the biggest discount had to buy 6, plus they had 10% off the first 24 hours of the cruise. Thats a good price on silver patron, though I paid $63 for the 3/4 lite size for 2 bottles of the Don Julio reposa (slightly aged). they had the 3/4 bottles 2 for $50 of Don Julio (not the Patron) where I went not the 1 liter bottles. usually i only find the 1 liters on the ship. If you can get 2 one liter bottles of silver patron for $50 Id grab those. heck of a deal. Patron is woth more to me than white henessey lol. sounds like I overpaid again, since I only got Don Julio repossa not Patron for the same price. awesome Edited November 23, 2018 by firefly333
