Spam report?

The old boards had a report post widget on each post - there was a massive amount of seemingly chinese spam on the Cunard forum. The new boards have an ignore feature, but a spam report feature seems needed too. [and yes, the spam report should notify the spammer]

Use the Report post button, shows up as a flag on mobile

The spam report tool in the new software seems to work, too. I watched a spam attack on the Help forum a week or so back and reported some of them as they came in, and someone took care of all of that within about half an hour.

 

Another IBB that I use has limits for new members: no more than five posts per day, and no URLs can be posted. It's been pretty effective in reducing the effect of spam attacks.

Hover over it? - I didn't want to touch it 

 

Considering it was chinese spam in the Cunard forum, it was probably a Titanic 2 sales pitch
