Deck 2 on Grandeur?

Recommended Posts

Hello!
Found a great deal for a cruise on the Grandeur. But, the deal is for cabins on Deck 2!
Never had a cabin that low. I'm wondering if there will be a lot of noise from the engine.

Can anyone advise?
Thanks in advance!

As stated...there are many decks below the lowest passenger deck...crew, storage, mechanical...then you get to the engine room.  Engine noise isn't an issue.  If you are near an anchor, you may hear it when it's deployed.....otherwise, deck 2 is no different than any other deck.

I normally book a cabin on deck 3 on the Grandeur but on the recent cruise met a couple who always book deck 2 and love it.

We were on deck 2 OV for this May's Bermuda/Bahamas . We had no noise and little ship motion. We would stay on deck 2 again as it was easy to get on and off the ship in port. We did not have to wait for an elevator to get down to deck one.
