Cc dining on Caribbean princess

Are dress shorts ok on non formal nights in club class dining room for dinner? Please tell me the pants can stay in the suitcase!

What does the Princess website say?  Since you have a lot of questions about a particular ship and cruise line, you should be posting on the board here for Princess, located back on the main boards page under Cruise Lines P-Z.

Shorts are generally not allowed in the DR's for evening meals, this includes Club Class. However, some passengers do wear shorts and some maitre'd's allow them. Other times passengers are turned away. Pack prepared.

Princess guidelines  re: shorts ("dress" or otherwise) have not changed. Shorts are not supposed to be worn in the dining rooms at dinnertime. No exceptions made for CC passengers that I have ever heard of, and I have cruised many times on Princess ships in the past 15 years.

We've had Club Class Dining on Caribbean Princess.

Shorts are allowed for breakfast and lunch ... but not for dinner.  

Great service in CC ... Enjoy!

I have worn nice shorts many times to dinner in CC without anyone batting an eye. You'll be fine.

Unless, of course, you happen to have a fussy MD. If this happens to be the case on your cruise, then I agree with skynight. Pack prepared. 

I have always found nice black jeans to be acceptable anytime for CC dinner as well.

I will try it after the first night. My leg freedom is important especialy when it is my hard earned dollars. After all,it is only a meal.
