Dietemann Posted January 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2019 I saw that Princess automatically selects OBC as payment for booking an excursion on line, which is what I want. We have both refundable and non-refundable credit. Will they use non-refundable credit first?
Astro Flyer Posted January 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2019 (edited) Checked my pre-booked tours paid for with OBC but for Shore Excursion Payment it only shows the total amount of OBC & is not broken down into refundable & non-refundable. In my Credits list the Military Benefit shows as being refundable but when OBC is used to pay for tours it doesn’t show which type of OBC is being used. in my Confirmed Reservations it only shows the amount Paid but not the source. This is my first pre-payment for tours experience so I don’t know how it will be displayed in my onboard folio. Whatever accounting procedure they’ll use I expect the same experience as previously....non-refundable then refundable OBC to pay for any debits to my folio. Thrak Posted January 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2019 As a rule Princess always utilizes non-refundable OBC first.

That has always been my experience in the past, I just never tried to pre-book using OBC. I will go ahead and book an excursion now rather than wait until we are on board. villauk Posted January 5, 2019 #6 Share Posted January 5, 2019 Is it only tours that you can use OBC for pre cruise? Are beverage and internet packages exempt from using OBC online?
