Rare vacationlover_mn Posted January 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2019 My thrifty friend and her 20 something daughter, teen daughter and 7 year old grandson might join me on Oasis. What is an affordable, but not cramped, room for them?
Ourusualbeach Posted January 5, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2019 No such thing. Any of the rooms that have more space such as the ultra spacious interior will cost more. IMO the 2 best options would be to book 2 inside cabins or book 1 CP or BW balcony that has the Pullman bed.
SpecialNeedsFam Posted January 5, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2019 Category 1K on deck 11- ultra spacious oceanview- might be a good match.

Category 1R cabins are located on deck 11 Has 3rd and 4th pullman plus a sofa bed, sleeps 6 260 square ft cabin opposed to most that are in the 150 to 160 sq.ft range. 2 inside cabins total would run $3000 total............cabins are only 140 sq.ft. though. Rare brillohead Posted January 5, 2019 #6 Share Posted January 5, 2019 I'd go for two rooms... going to be right around the same cost, and they get more room and an extra bathroom. For economy, maybe an ocean balcony across from an inside or "inside view" room. I'm assuming that you're looking at the four of them having a separate room(s) from you..... If you're looking for accommodations for the five of you, I'd DEFINITELY book two rooms.

tcneal Posted January 5, 2019 #8 Share Posted January 5, 2019 For us, Royal has always been the cruise line where it's always better to book 2 rooms instead of trying to find 1 larger room. This is due to their not so cheap 3rd and 4th person in a cabin pricing along with the jump in price for larger rooms. And if you can find connecting rooms, in some cases it's better than having a larger room.
