ade999 Posted January 1, 2020 #101 Share Posted January 1, 2020 Does anyone know if the elite discount is available for all the packages? I was only offered the discount on 1 device so ended up buying two single device packages as directed by the rep.

cheeseclan Posted January 27, 2020 #103 Share Posted January 27, 2020 A question here from a newbie to Celebrity. How do you sign on to the internet while on the ship? On Princess, without the app/medallion, on any device we had to put in cabin number and birthdate. Can’t remember how the medallion sign in worked since mine did not that cruise. Do we have to have the app to get onto internet? TIA

TIA All you need to do is set wifi to Celebrity and then open your browser and type either LogON or guest.onboardicafe.com. You will be taken to a logon page where you create your account using the portfolio number on your sea pass and your last name. You will then create a username and 4 digit pin number. From this you will select - free CC minutes or Internet Package. If you have an Internet Package as a perk there will be no cost. If you are purchasing a package it will show the amount for 1, 2, 3 or 4 device accounts and the cost for each. Your CC discount is already calculated. Takes no more than 1-2 minutes to setup. m8zenblue Posted January 27, 2020 #106 Share Posted January 27, 2020 I'm confused also ! I see two different internet packages for a single device, one was $200 and something for unlimited that you can stream videos, Netflix & Hulu, the other was $161 and is limited to what I see is e-mail and text messages. Anyone know about these packages and have used them ? Thanx
LXA350 Posted February 2, 2020 #107 Share Posted February 2, 2020 A bit on a different note, it seems if I will book a internet package pre cruise I can not ask for the discount as it claims that no Captains Club discounts /promotions can be applied for the offers in the Pre Cruise planer? m8zenblue Posted February 2, 2020 #108 Share Posted February 2, 2020 Has anyone ever heard of Sapphire mobile internet device ? I bought one last year but forgot to take it on my last cruise. It's supposed to work in all Caribbean countries after you purchase a package. Not sure if it will work on the ship.
jshli Posted February 2, 2020 #109 Share Posted February 2, 2020 In order to receive the Captains Club discount for an internet package, you have to call Celebrity to have it applied, the amount dependent on your status in the program. It can not be done online.

I can confirm that a B2B does not count as a single cruise. Each is treated separately and you have to buy a package for each cruise. Also you will find that you have to create a different user name on each cruise.

Will make it substantially more expensive for the OP. Of course it depends what kind of "contactable" he is talking about, maybe he can get away with "Surf".
