flamomo Posted February 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2019 I read on Cruise Junkie this morning that a female passenger died onboard, reportedly of complications of norovirus, while the ship was traversing the Pacific Ocean.
Griller Posted February 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2019 When I received an email from mutual friends about this there was absolutely no mention of norovirus.

Rare hllwdcruiser Posted February 14, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2019 It is one of our own and is beyond sad. The Rabbit (thank you, Rabbit) informed me on another thread. Look for a Live From World Cruise on the Pacific Princess on this forum.
Gwendy Posted February 14, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2019 This is very sad, but when you look at the demographics of world cruisers understandable. In 2009 on the world cruise there were often ambulances at the port waiting to take deceased persons. There were a number of deaths, mostly those over 80.

san diego sue Posted February 14, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 14, 2019 She was not elderly. We have cruised with them in the past and our hearts go out to her husband. Use to love watching them dance. A wonderful couple.
Rare Host CJSKIDS Posted February 14, 2019 #10 Share Posted February 14, 2019 (edited) As ccrain has this news with the post on his live from the world cruise thread, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread in deference to a very heartbroken member of our community. . Please go to his live from thread and you can read his post and post condolences if you wish. Charles posted a very loving and moving tribute to Judy.
