Cruised Edge in January

I’m not going to rehash what everyone has been writing about this ship. Surfice it to say that we won’t be sailing her again. However, DH just finished the photo album from this cruise and noticed something weird.  Key cards have never had cabin numbers on them before. But this one had the last 3 numbers printed on the card. Edge cabins don’t have the floor printed on them, just the last 3 numbers. Doesn’t seem safe to me.  Anyone have any thoughts on this.

We were on the Edge in Jan also.  I didn’t find the last 3 numbers on the card to be a concern?  If some finds a card and wants to go Deck to Deck to find the cabin that card opens, they may also be surprised to find someone inside but more likely that the card has been deactivated.

X has been doing that through out the fleet for the last year or so.  It isn’t unique to the Edge.

 

apparently there haven’t been any issues or problems.

The last three numbers of the cabin were printed on cards on Reflection in 2017 and on Silhouette in 2018. If it bothers you you can rub the numbers off without too much effort.
